Each year, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) brings parks and rec professionals together from across the country to celebrate the industry. While every NRPA Annual Conference is unique, you can always count on these events to be full of energy, community spirit, and lots and lots of fun. This year’s 2024 NRPA conference was, of course, no different.

After months of anticipation, our team eagerly set out to Atlanta, Georgia to join this year’s attendees at the annual event. And it did not disappoint! From the exhibit floor to the dance floor, we had the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful parks and recreation professionals.

Each and every member of our team who attended this year’s NRPA Annual Conference walked away from the conference feeling energized. From Monday evening at our Social to the final day of the conference itself, there were many highlights at this year’s NRPA event.

A Social Mixer to Remember

We kicked off our time in Atlanta with one of our most memorable Social Mixers to date!

Hitting the lanes at Fowling Warehouse Atlanta, we had the chance to celebrate some of the most hardworking parks and rec professionals we know! Whether you tried your hand at fowling, or you simply sat back and enjoyed some great food and conversation, we thank those of you who were able to join us for our “best social” yet.

We truly had an amazing time with y’all!

Xplor Rec on the Exhibit Floor

While we had the chance to connect with many of you throughout the week at various venues, a special shout out to those of you who took time out of your busy schedules to stop by our booth.

We loved getting the opportunity to show off our parks and recreation management software live and in person to you. It was particularly rewarding to have the opportunity to live demo our Mobile App and Self-Serve Kiosks for you—right on the exhibit floor. Watching folks' eyes light up at the possibilities when they saw these solutions for the first time was nothing short of amazing.

While at the conference, you may have also seen the orange Community Hero capes that we gave out. We made these as a testament to the incredible people in this industry because we are truly in awe of the commitment and dedication that y’all give your communities. If you didn’t get the chance to grab one (we ran out in just a couple of hours!), look for them at our conference booths in 2025.

Another highlight for our team was hearing so many of our booth visitors share their interest in data and advancing tech.

More than ever, we heard people asking about innovations like mobile and kiosk capabilities for parks and recreation—including the importance of agencies having their own native mobile app! Specifically, our team had a record number of conversations about how our mobile offering is the only fully native recreation management software app. Its entirely native functionality empowers your community members to browse, register, and pay all from within an app that we custom brand for your agency.

Throughout the conference, our booth felt like a bustling hub for making meaningful connections. And we are genuinely grateful to the hundreds of people who stopped by to chat with us.
