Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS) hosted an amazing event this year. The Sand, Seas & Strategies for Tomorrow Institute and Expo was a huge success and well worth the long flight from Vancouver to Galveston.
From the highly engaging networking event called Casino Night, to dozens of educational sessions like Kimberly Sorensen’s “Parks to the people and people to the parks", we found ourselves both engaged, and speaking to the right people to help grow their communities!
Colleen Mah (pictured above) and Vahid Shababi engaged several Parks and Rec representatives, and demonstrated to them how Xplor Recreation is a great solution for managing their everyday operations.
Aside from the wonderful networking opportunities and buzzing expo floor, TRAPS also offered a dozen educational sessions. We highly recommend that you check out the full list of the presentations and handouts from the educational sessions, which can be found here.
Ms. Kathy Geil, Senior Program Coordinator for Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation was the lucky draw winner of a brand new AppleTV. Congratulations Kathy!
Thanks again to Colten Hendrik, the Administrative & Education Specialist - we hope to see everyone again next year!
